Your tasks Assuring a stable production operation of the relevant applications (Azure stack) Contact for all technical aspects of these applications in the relevant stages Incident and problem management (monitoring analyzing and fixing incidents to guarantee the availability of the relevant applications and environments) Coordination of the deployment of new versions or patches and implementation for the relevant applications Knowledge and usage of the internal and external regulatory requirements Proactive interaction with all members of the cell to achieve the team goals 2nd level support for Interfaces to the Contentful API and to their Services Team

Alternative tasks:

Capacity management for the relevant applications, Participation or leading of task forces, Logfile analysis for solution of incidents. Your profile Experience with incident and problem management on Unix/Linux and in cloud environments, Basic knowledge about maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of the Azure environment, Proactive approach to development in the area of cloud solutions, Experience with Bash/PowerShell scripting, Experience with performance and process optimization, Experience with DevOps/Scrum methodology, Knowledge of ITIL service management,

Nice to have:

Experience with monitoring, Experience with application management, Experience with setup and optimization of Azure monitoring

Description of the cluster:

In Cross Channel Services we are delivering cross-functional services for implementations in online banking platform of Commerzbank to ensure stable and highly available online banking. In your role as an Application Engineer, you will be a part of the Style Guide cell, which ensures the stable operation of the Group-wide Content Management System (LWS and Contentful).

We are working in agile team using following technologies: Azure, OpenShift, Linux/Unix, Bash, PowerShell and more.

Our team consist of Application Engineers, Product Owner and Scrum Master.
