In your role as Business Expert you will be part of the team Cross-Border Payments Team. This team is responsible for maintaining the operational stability of our payment system. In addition, one of our tasks is to continuously check and improve the systems. Various applications are directly supported, others are outsourced to our strategic payments partner Worldline. You will also support in defining and streamlining the cross border payments business development of IT systems in close collaboration with stakeholders and thereby take considerable influence over payments processes.
What you will be doing?
You will be involved in the development, maintenance and improvement of the SEPA payments standards which comprises the following tasks:
As a Business Expert you are responsible for translation of requirements into business procedures thereby acting as a link between Payments Sales Management, German and international regulatory or standard defining bodies such as EBA Clearing, German Bundesbank or SWIFT and ISO. On the other side you will be interacting with our Service Provider and/or Sourcing Partner. You are taking part in the full software development cycle through requirements specification, test, rollout, production support and de-commissioning of payments applications and related processes. You are supporting the development as well as the stable running of our payments processes and systems. You will act as a 3rd level support for back-office units for complex payments operations topics that require an in-depth analysis and risk assessment. You will also take business decisions in the scope of given competencies. You will prepare, perform, and evaluate in-depth testing of payments systems and formats (MT/ ISO20022 full range client and clearing side formats) You will manage defects resulting from testing as well as report issues and raise incidents with view on settling those either fully or by on staged fixes You will write and review business requirement documentations, business cases and business specifications either towards Software Providers or towards Engineers and/or Sourcing Partners
Alternative tasks:
Discussion and alignment with internal and external stakeholders (Worldline, related product clusters (e.g. Cluster Accounts or Cluster Digital Banking Solutions ). Discussion and alignment with internal and external auditors regarding Payments requirements and processes.
Your profileWhich technology & skills are important for us?
High knowledge of cross-boarder payments processes and systems. High knowledge of industry standards (MT and ISO formats) High knowledge of the payment's functioning ( both on clients and clearing side. This includes knowledge of the associated risk and requirements. Basic knowledge of a variety of payments products ( domestic and cross-boarder, bank-to-bank) Good knowledge of financial crime risk and respective regulations relevant to Payments. Good knowledge of industry standards (SWIFT formats, SWIFTgpi )Additional Skills:
