During your work as a consultant (m/f/d) you will make a significant contribution to the implementation of the strategic agenda of the Commerzbank Group in our projects. Your tasks range from support in project management and analysis planning to the conceptual design of proposed solutions, the presentation of your results and support for implementation. Group-wide project assignments give you access to an extensive network of contacts throughout the Commerzbank Group.
Now to the doctorate: In addition to your work as a consultant (m/f/d), you have the opportunity to write a dissertation at the Faculty of Economics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). You will be supported by Prof. Dr. Alexander Mädche and you are located in the associated Human-Centered Systems Lab (h-lab). Your research focuses on the future of work using wearable technologies (Wearables@Work). Using commercially available wearables (e.g. smartwatches), new solutions for the design of user-adaptive systems to increase well-being and productivity in the context of the activities of consultants are to be implemented and empirically evaluated. Your work is in the areas of business informatics, human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence or a combination thereof. In your work, you can fall back on numerous scientific preparatory work in the field of designing innovative solutions for the future of work. The doctoral project is designed for three years. You will work 50% in our projects and 50% in the h-lab of the KIT.
