Your tasksThe Brokerage unit at the Quickborn and Frankfurt locations develops, supports and markets the entire range of securities services from comdirect and onvista bank – brands of Commerzbank AG. With innovative product solutions and features, it covers the needs of all self-determined customer target groups: from securities beginners to long-term oriented private investors to highly active heavy traders. The unit is responsible for and controls business relationships with stock exchanges and trading partners as well as various technical service providers and marketing partners in the securities sector. The most important goals are to increase income from the securities business, custody asset growth and custody new customers, for both business areas.
Are you interested in capital markets, investment algorithms, portfolio management as well as mobile apps and web applications for the future of digital investment? Then you are right with us. As part of the team, you will support the data-driven product decisions related to our robo-advisor cominvest using regular reports, dashboards, ad-hoc data evaluations and quantitative analyses. You will work closely with the responsible product managers and data analysts / data scientists. Your tasks include:
Independent data procurement and visualization Creation of ad hoc evaluations and regular reports for external and internal stakeholders on product use, performance and product features Implementation, interpretation and evaluation of statistical analyzes Support in the analysis of investment portfolios (e.g. return and risk indicators) and investment processes Processing of results, derivation of recommendations and preparation of decision templates Recording and modeling of business and customer processes, eg for the purpose of designing tracking dashboards your profile You have successfully completed your bachelor's degree and are already doing your master's degree You have gained initial experience in setting up and using databases (data acquisition, processing, analysis) You can code database scripts (SQL) and have knowledge of at least one other programming language, such as e.g. Python, R, Ruby or Matlab You are confident in dealing with MS Office applications You have gained initial experience in the use of e.g. Applied Data Science, econometric methods, artificial intelligence and/or ML With your quick comprehension you develop yourself independently and in a structured manner new contexts Communication and documentation of the work results in German and English are a matter of course for you. You are a team player and have a high level of self-motivation.
