Your tasks Ensuring stable operation of the applications, their reliability and fault tolerance in production; Proactively manage objectives to remediate issues before SLAs are violated; Providing input to site reliability engineering and optimization e.g.automation, monitoring, alerting, SLI/SLO measurement, managing load & capacity, gaining full visibility into system health; Preparing software builds, release packages executing deployment on production and test in accordance with agreed terms; Participating in the preparation and implementation of changes to the given environment; Helping to keep test environments stable and that tests are running smoothly; Ensure testing and validating deployment packages; Responsibility for executing deployments on production; Managing Firewall activations & Certificates, Authorizations, recertification with the Product Owners; Ensure testing and validating deployment packages; Creating and managing of technical documentation; Conducting backup and restore management; Check compliance with the agreed SLAs/SLOs and regulatory requirements; Handling of changes/incidents/problems with HP Service Manager and signing off operating concepts; Working closely in interdisciplinary teams with business experts and engineer developers with a motivated/open attitude to the agile approach (Scrum/Kanban, Daily, Planning, Review, Retro, Lean). Your profile Meaningful experience working as a DevOps Engineer; Experience with Linux/Shell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) e.g. Terraform and Ansible; Continuous integration and deployment know how; Relational and Non-relational database design and management experience; Previous experience with monitoring, alerting tools. ELK-stack, Prometheus, Graphana, Loki Dynatrace; Proactiveness and having a structured way of work; Flexibility and adaptability to fast changing environment; Good communication and collaboration skills; Fluency in English – both written and spoken, understanding German could be beneficial; Crypto Custody: Understanding German is essential; Basic understanding for DLT, Blockchain-Technology, Cryptography would be beneficial; Willingness to support future 3rd level on call overnight support; University degree in IT or relevant. Desirable on of the following expert fields:

1. Crypto Custody

Frameworks: Swagger; Knowledge of Cloud and Container technologies: Openshift, GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, ...; Familiarity with tools such as IntelliJ, Git/BitBucket, TeamCity, Maven, GitOps(ArgoCD), Junit, possibly Cypress, Keycloak, Hashicorp Vault, Kafka.

2. Themis / R3 Hearts

Frameworks: Swagger, Ktor, Angular; Knowledge of Cloud and Container technologies (Azure, R3/Corda, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, Docker, ...).

The Business Connectivity cluster accelerates the transformation of Commerzbank into a digital technology company by developing and promoting internal and external APIs that are an integral part of our digital infrastructure. Positioning of Commerzbank in the German market as the first port of call for simple and innovative API-based customer solutions. In addition to that we built up cells for providing (Apache) Kafka and Digital Crypto Custody as a platform in the bank. This would enable us to facilitate event streaming and digital assets use cases and increase the bank’s real time capability.
