Your tasks Developing automated tests for user interface components written in Typescript using the ReactJS workflows and tools like JEST, Microsoft Playwright, Storybook, Teamcity; Working on the testing strategy of the FX Live Trader Web GUI and related frontends, defining the testing methods used, testing conventions in the team; Participate in ensuring that these components and the overall application is robust and easy to maintain (conduct quality control); Consult and support the team in implementing the above testing strategy; Coordinate, execute and document the test process for the application releases. Your profile Strong experience with web testing frameworks and tools (JEST / Microsoft Playwright / Cypress or similar); JavaScript/TypeScript or web development skills; Knowledge in Test Automation framework construction; Experience with relational databases – SQL; Team player with good interpersonal and communications skills; Attentive to detail with strong analytical skills; Fluency in English - both written and spoken; German would be considered as an advantage; University degree in IT or relevant.

Commerzbank Interest Rates, Currency and Commodities Trading team is covering all activities related to sales and trading for Commerzbank. It forms a major part of a new Agile organization bringing together Business and IT to transform Commerzbank capacity to deliver software. Focus is given on driving technologies and understanding business needs to achieve the company’s objectives.

As a Test Automaton Engineer, you will be working with the multi-location based team to develop and enhance the React Front-end GUI, in particular to implement automated unit and integration tests using state of the art tools like JEST and Microsoft Playwright. You will be responsible to coordinate the development of the testing frameworks in the project.
